The Dung Quat Refinery marks a milestone in the history of Vietnam being the first oil refinery build in Vietnam. The refinery, located in the Quang Ngai province in Central Vietnam has a designed capacity of 6.5 million tonnes per year (or 14,000 barrel per day) of crude oil and is expected to meet one-third of the country´s demand for oil and petroleum.
